We are excited to introduce our inaugural Night of Champions for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kingsport.
The Night of Champions brings individuals together for an ESPYS type award ceremony that recognizes the accomplishments of high school student athletes in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia communities. This event includes a meal, awards ceremony, and special guest San Francisco 49ers NFL Quarterback and VFL Joshua Dobbs.
How are Athletes Nominated?
A selection committee, comprised of sports media professionals and others who cover sports in the Northeast Tennessee and Southwestern Virginia areas, that does not include staff or board members from the Boys & Girls Club, accept nominations from within the committee and from athletic directors and high school coaches.
The committee will take nominations until April 21, 2024. Then, 3 finalists will be selected in each category. Finalists will receive a formal invitation at their school location.
