Lauren is a Nashville native who relocated to Johnson City, Tennessee in 2017 with her husband. Since being in Johnson City, she has obtained three degrees from East Tennessee State University: BBA in Accounting, BBA in Finance, and MBA. Lauren spent three years in public accounting until she joined Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kingsport in 2022 to fulfill the Director of Finance position. She looks forward to the coming opportunities to make a difference in all Club kids.

My name is Janell Wells and I work for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Kingsport as the Director of Reedy Point. I graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Physical Education. I have my master’s in education from the University of Illinois. I am working on finishing a certificate for my Board-Certified Behavior Analyst from Capella University. After I graduated from FSU, I taught in Chicago for 6 years in Physical Education. I have coached softball, basketball, and golf for 10 years. I also have been an umpire for USAA girls' softball for one year. I have also headed state and federal grants dealing with children with special health care needs and mental health issues. While doing the grants I also worked on disaster preparedness for the state of Florida. In my free time, I like to be with my family and my son. I love to fish, hike, golf, and work on the property.

I enjoy working for an organization that is trying to help families in the community it serves. I am excited to help the club grow its influence in the community, create new partnerships with leaders and organizations and collaborate with staff and volunteers to create unique programs for kids and families.

I wanted to work at the club because of the opportunities I have to create something that benefits our club kids and their families. The kids we serve today become the leaders of our future and I want to help them become positive, productive, and engaging members of our community and the world.

Nastassia has worked for the club for over 15 years. She is active in various service and genealogy organizations and enjoys spending time with her family, genealogy, cooking, arts and crafts, and giving back to the community.

I continue working at our club because of the kids, especially the teens, I get to interact with every day. I enjoy being out in the community, meeting new people, creating partnerships and promoting our club. I look forward to expanding our services and doing more exciting programs with our teens.
