The raffle has historically brought together individuals from across the nation in support of the Boys & Girls Club’s mission of helping all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential. Ticket sales have come from as far as New York and Maine and even California and Alaska.
To put the odds of winning the raffle in perspective, a recent study found that the odds of winning the Mega Millions Lottery are at a staggering 1 in 290,472,336. With only 1300 tickets available for purchase, anyone who purchases multiple raffle tickets has a fantastic chance of winning the raffle.
Individuals who purchase a raffle ticket do not have to be present at the drawing to win. Buyers must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a ticket. Payments are not tax-deductible contributions and are non-refundable unless the event is canceled.
All proceeds directly benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kingsport.
The winner of the raffle will be responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes and any delivery/shipping fees.
An independent auditing firm will conduct a full audit of the gambling event.
