Leadership Staff


The staff of The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kingsport (BGCGKPT) represents a solid foundation for our organization’s success. Committed to excellence in youth development, our team works diligently to create safe, supportive environments where young people can fully realize their potential.

Our staff members bring a wealth of experience in education, youth programming, and community service. Each individual is dedicated to advancing the Club’s mission, fostering academic achievement, leadership development, healthy lifestyles, and positive character growth among the youth we serve.

Recognizing that the strength of our programs is directly linked to the strength of our team, we are proud to maintain a culture of professional learning and growth. Staff members participate regularly in trainings, certifications, and leadership development opportunities, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and service.

    Jessica brings a wealth of experience, expertise, and community connections to the organization. With a proven track record in fundraising and philanthropy, building relationships with community leaders and organizations, and mentoring students and professionals to achieve success, Jessica is well-prepared to lead our Boys & Girls Club into its next phase of growth and innovation.

    Lauren is a Nashville native who relocated to Johnson City, Tennessee in 2017 with her husband. Since being in Johnson City, she has obtained three degrees from East Tennessee State University: BBA in Accounting, BBA in Finance, and MBA. Lauren spent three years in public accounting until she joined Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kingsport in 2022 to fulfill the Director of Finance position. She looks forward to the coming opportunities to make a difference in all Club kids.

    I enjoy working for an organization that is trying to help families in the community it serves. I am excited to help the club grow its influence in the community, create new partnerships with leaders and organizations and collaborate with staff and volunteers to create unique programs for kids and families.

    Nastassia has worked for the club for 18 years. She is active in various service and genealogy organizations and enjoys spending time with her family, genealogy, cooking, arts and crafts, and giving back to the community.

    I continue working at our club because of the kids, especially the teens, I get to interact with every day. I enjoy being out in the community, meeting new people, creating partnerships and promoting our club. I look forward to expanding our services and doing more exciting programs with our teens.

  • Jahson Denns- Director of Athletics

    Jahson is very passionate about providing opportunities for kids to grow and thrive in a supportive environment. As a former collegiate athlete, he loves to help young people develop teamwork, discipline, and a lifelong love of fitness. "I am very dedicated to helping our members reach their full potential."
